I have  done my external ilizarov  on my tibias with doctor kessides im pretty happy from his job ..  i have made  only 4 cm  and now im on the  bone maturing fas ..  i have a quastion  how long  does  it it need untill to take out the frame from my legs  for the  4 cm  thanks in advance

If you're lucky you can probably take them off after 6 months, but it wouldn't be unusual if you needed them on for 8 months before the bone was hard enough for safe frame removal.

But how is possible for only 4 cm to need  so long time  and other who do more cm   need also 6 month ? I have  stoped on 4 cm because i cannot do more and i wnt to get rid of them soon as possible is it any way that could help me ?
