I noticed my hair is thinning slightly in parts after the surgery.

I think it might be the extreme stress response of the body

My guess is that you need a lot of vitamins and nutrients to build new bone. In my Late twenties I started to lose a lot of hair but after using organic vitamin b complex my hair loss stopped. Now 10 years later, no more hair loss. Cant remember what vitamin B exactly helps but that complex anyway doesn't cost much.

I did have some hairloss after surgery which likely is either as a result of the stress on the body or the medication you take. It was "Telogen effluvium" (shock hair loss) wasn't extremely severe and it's all growing back now 3 months later
