While femurs LON is known for torturous amount of pain and soft tissue tears and complication, seems like there are some patients who actually managed to get a decent result? Any first hand or second hand experiences on such cases, if so, what actually contributed to the successful outcome?

From reading the forum I realise that some people do femur LON with circular fixators and other people do it with monolateral fixators. So there are 2 choices and I believe results are very different.
