Is there anyone in here that actually successfully did LL alone and not had direct family call them out on it? Im not sure Ive heard a single case of this.
It seems some get away with it from friends, but family is much more difficult.
If you tried to pass it off and failed that would be super helpful to hear as well.
Has anyone been able to hide LL from direct family members?
I see my folks about once or twice per year. Even for smaller amounts like 5CM? Not gonna happen? Im wondering what they would even think considering theres no way they know about the procedure.
Yeah women in the family have no idea because they're shorter and already below your eye level. My mom is a full half foot below my height, theres no way she will notice. Its men who you are now getting even with or surpassing in eye height where it gets hard to hide. My dad is 5 foot 9 so all of a sudden ill be his height or even a bit taller.
Theres an explanation I have, something medical, as an excuse. Just dont know if it will be believable enough. Id prefer to just not have any questions and need to pull that out of the bag lol. If nobody says anything that would be great.

My mom has a big mouth and was not going to tell her about LL. I did not want all the family know about it. I am glad I lied to her or everyone would of known about it
lmfao gaslighting is always an option. My sister has a huge mouth thats the person in particular id never in a million years tell.

Not going to go into details but I had an injury and very recently had surgery to fix it. This surgery does actually add some height but not 2 inches. Could possibly be used as an excuse.
I guess what I'm saying is as soon as they have validation and know exactly what happened, thats when they can run their mouth. If they dont have a specific story to tell, it makes it much harder to spread gossip, because they dont know what to tell other people. If people hear "x seems taller" its like oh ok, yeah I guess so. That is odd. But if people hear "x had LL" then thats like pandoras box has just been opened. LL is not something someone would spread unless you confirmed it because its not a thing in peoples vocabulary and a bold thing to claim without confirmation.
But I agree that if you're especially past 2 inches taller its going to be hard to pass off and create any kind of excuse for and you might piss some people off by lying.
