Dr. M would be ideal OR another doctor that specializes in installing the Stryde nail.   I recommend Dr. M for this because he would have been the D.O. that installed your hardware and will recall each and every step that he took during the procedure. This will make the removal of the hardware easier on you since the discovery process on your leg would have already been more than halfway completed.
