How many months did you schedule your surgery with your doctor? Should I meet with my doctor a year before the surgery?

You choose your date of surgery with doctor. Obviously you don't come to a surgeon and say "hey listen today i want my legs broken and stuff so lets go".

But if you want to have surgery year later in certain day i don't think any doctor would have any problem with that.

Would 2 - 3 months before my desired surgery date by sufficient?

It definitely varies doctor to doctor, but they say not to go to Paley during the Summer because that's his rush season or something.
Since you want to do it with Dr. Parihar, my educated guess would be 2-3 months before, because the Precice nails take some time to be ordered and shipped. Each set is shipped as per order on a surgeon's request.
