Really contemplating the procedure, I stand currently at 162/3cm and don’t care about proportions or being super tall (honestly 5’6 or 5’7 would work just fine for me, just anything but my current height). I was thinking about 6.5 cm internal femurs as sort of a sweet spot for me. Would this decrease recovery time if I did 6.5 instead of the 8 cm which for me is not a huge difference at all in terms of height. Basically if I were to get the procedure done should I shoot for 162/3 - 170/171 cm or shoot for 162/3 - 167.5/8.5 cm.

Quote from: LIVELIFETHEWAYIWANT on December 07, 2022, 09:49:25 AMif you are only doing one segment and you are on the short side , go do betzbone (weight bearing) , it is up to 12.5 CM , so you can LL and think about your target height .

Hmm, that's interesting but I don't want to lengthen to 12 cm lol. I'm perfectly fine being shorter than avg like 5'7 would be fine for me as I said. I was just wondering in general about recovery time since I have read that if you chose to lengthen around 6 cm it will be a much quicker recovery than 8 cm. I appreciate the feedback tho!

This is exactly what I thought of as well, which is why I'm thinking of only MAX 8cm.
