Everyone mentions time, but I struggle to comprehend it since time will pass regardless of one’s actions.

Discovered this topic four years ago. After conducting research, realized the risk was considerable (not zero) and lacked financial means. Ceased all consideration of limb lengthening. Skipping ahead to this year, exhausted other alternatives and had to make a change in life. Financial situation improved, and delved deeper into the subject, such as on this forum. Developed a sense of having a 95% likelihood of success. Once decision was made, surgery was scheduled within three weeks.

I first learned about Limb Lengthening Surgery over four years ago, initially thinking it was highly risky. However, when a shorter friend reassured me about its safety, I decided to pursue it without further investigation. I mistakenly believed that exercises could increase my height, resulting in countless futile attempts. My lack of critical thinking led me down this unwise path, teaching me the consequences of foolish decisions.

From the day you encountered it until the moment you made the choice to proceed with it, what factors influenced your decision?

The issue is not the duration of 3 months but rather concerns related to time, finances, and so on.

If it’s something you consider daily, and you constantly feel too short, experiencing height dysphoria, then proceed with limb lengthening. However, if it’s an occasional desire to be taller, but not a pressing need, I wouldn’t recommend pursuing it. The procedure is not only very expensive but also requires significant motivation to endure the pain and intense stretching for months.
