Quote from: Sanity on August 26, 2018, 04:19:32 AMI know where u coming from. I can relate. This height thing caused me neurosis too and it is demeaning to the soul. The only thing that brought it under control for me was planning and starting the work. Could've chosen anesthesia overdose as my painless way of exit from reality but that was too girlish and easy because it felt like running away from quite a beatable challenge.
It will kill u from inside a little each day until u will loose any joy in existence. Dont let it take ur head. Just plan the surgery and be done with it.
The only good thing about it which i can say is that it proves ur living in the fullest reality unlike thousands of shorties who are just fkedd! i mean utterly fkedd inside-out and dont even realise it somehow I am reaching my limit I can’t take it anymore.. You base ur thaughts on the real world around that you see and on logic and that's smart. You were smart in the first place to make it a real concern and then make it ur depression. But better use that fire to fuel the solution!

Now which scientist or a doctor ever said u cant get back to ur 100%. I'd like to know the name and his qualifications. That is just a myth. I know many guyz who did the surgery and came back upto 90-100%(assuming they were even using 100% beforehand). And mind you these guyz are still in love with their older legs for how long they've served them and extremely harsh on their new ones while judging in their recovery. So that number is not even close to accurate. Just claims from their biased regretful perspectives. It is the basic human psychology.
Yes it will take time but it can surely be done. Soft tissue will always adapt with exercises and diet, hell man even the bone remodels completely every 7 years. See wolf's law. I base my statements on rationals and science and not sentiments or feelings.

There are people maybe less than 1% who even die in this surgery due to FE but then there are who die at 29 perfectly healthy walking dwn the street. There are ppl who recover only 70-80% after ll but then there are who recover ONE HUNDRED PERCENT. It can only be known if u test it out urself. And it will depend on person more than it depends on the doctor.

Quote from: Blue Lunar on August 26, 2018, 12:31:29 AMYe I understand. Sanity is the best poster here so far. Getting the surgery and going through pain aint the problem. I can squat and deadlift extremely heavy and I hold the record for 2nd place in my highschool gym for the squat and deadlift. Am I going to be able to have this strength after surgery? Probably not. Am I gonna be able to run fast? No. I just hate the fact that the people that are 6 feet never have to go through any of this. They are genetically tall have long legs and weigh a lot. I may be 5’8 and I could wear 4 inch lifts and stuff but what about when I take off my shoes? I want to have the long legs of a 6ft person the long arms the long torso etc... 5’8 is short. End of story. 5’10 is decent and “average”. 5’8 men suffer a lot. I am sorry but this is the truth.

if you get the surgery and arm lengthening surgery then you sit above the average U.S. height for men. You would look proportionate and your height or proportions wouldn't stop you from achieving anything you want in life. Almost half the population is your height and many of them live fulfilled lives with fulfilled self-esteem. People find anything they can to blame themselves for why they won't be successful. It's not over for you. You may have to work harder than those that were born with it but you'll appeciate it more than them and look no different, maybe 1/2" shorter torso and if you let that comparison stop you that fk off youre so negative damn.

Being short is a social disadvantage. Because shortness is stigmatized and seen as inferior. And the negative social impacts of shortness is why a lot of people are doing CLL. Being short in this world means you get treated with less respect, you are seen as inferior, you are seen as subhuman, you are not considered attractive..less friends and less dating opportunities. Its a social disadvantage because short people are treated like they are inferior.
