Hello everyone,
Im Ismail I was referred this forum from someone and I have some questions regarding the Limb Lengthening surgery and wondered if someone experienced could answer these for me please?
1. How safe and realistic is it to reach 8cm on the Femur?
2. Why is external fixator not recommend for a cosmetic lengthening?
3. How much time should I expect to take out of work?
4. Which surgery is better aesthetically and in terms of difficulty is preferred by patients and surgeons the Tibia or the Femur?
5. Lets say I lengthen 6-7cm on my Femur, roughly how long should I expect before walking without any aids?
6. Between 7 and 8cm can you really see the difference, is it worth it? (I heard its. Big difference in terms of recovery)
Thank You
