Hey CamelToe,

I know this is not what anyone your age wants to hear, but you are still very young. If you don't want to go the cheaper routes of India, then you should temper your impatience and save for a few years to go to Xia or Salameh or some of the middle-range options.

If you do this and still go back for femurs, you could possibly be recovered and 4-5 inches taller when you are 27 or so. This might seem like an eternity for you, but that's because it seems like almost a quarter of your life right now. But once you get older and get some perspective, you'll realize that life is a marathon, not a sprint. Most of the best things you'll experience are not even on the horizon yet.

Use the time to save money and work on yourself. If you are not able to find any self-esteem/success/dates at your current height, being taller will not suddenly change all that. Not to go all rainbows and unicorns on you, but happiness truly comes from within you.

Cameltoe,

Just to reiterate what Bigfaker said...

My best friend is 5'4, so just an inch taller than you. He's successful, dates regularly, and is one of the happiest people I know. Does his height bother him? Sure. But as he says, he "deserves a good life just like anyone else", and works hard to achieve it.

Go for LL if you want it for sure, but develop your other qualities in the mean time. Don't put your life on hold. And shoot for 4" in my opinion.

If you're 5'3", I suggest you target 4 inches lengthening. Don't screw your legs up by lengthening too much. If you do this, you would just go from one life problem to another life problem. Being short to being with weak legs.
5'3" + 4 inches is 5'7" which is OK, good enough.

One more thing, I beg to differ from some of the other posters here, but I would say, do the LL surgery as soon as possible so that you can enjoy your life after that. Postponing it is just going to keep on pricking your mind until you finally get to doing it. (That's just my opinion).

im 19 and im around your height. Although im 5'5 barefoot. Only 2 inches but if i was in your situation i would look to get a little more than 15k to get a better doctor. Can you get 4 inches with only 15k? I know iamready got 4 inches or maybe more but that was with one of the best doctors to ever do LL. Paley. If i was going for 5 or 4 it would have to be him no doubt. Just make sure you get a solid doctor if you shoot for 4 or 5 inches. If you can do that with only 15k, please let me know the doctor and if its successful id be first in line at 21 if i dont grow in the next year or two. Good luck and keep us posted

Jesus christ dude

Anyways OP, what I suggest to everyone is to wear sneakers with 3" lifts in them for one week (should bring you up 4 inches, and make sure the lifts don't hurt your ankles or feet) and see if you notice any benefit. A lot of people think 3" on their height would take them from being a runt of the litter to a gigachad and it's just not how it works.
