Femurs are the largest bone in the body, possessing largest chunk of bone marrow which is responsible for production of significant percentage  of RGB/Hemoglobin present in the body. Doing internal femurs would take away a good amount of bone marrow so would it not affect blood formation and cause issues such as anaemia/lower blood count? Do people with internal rods in their bones  face such issues? How does body compensate for such loss f bone marrow?
