Hi there.
I was pretty active here some time ago. I had a surgery planned for this month but I cancelled it.
Since the cancellation I had ups and downs. I decided to ask family and close friends with ties to get info on this thing from various sources which do not include the internet. So here is what I managed to discover.
Dr.Guichet: Through family in france with ties with official in health ministry I was able to discover that guichet left France because he had to. He was actually facing ALOT of lawsuits because of people he fked up. The guy can no longer work as a doctor in France.
Dr.Paley: Through family friends in Toronto (where he began), he started to work at "sick-kids" hospital. After facing a couple of law suits for malpractice, the guy came in terms with the hospital to "leave by his own will". He went to Baltimore where after a couple of years he was also forced to leave. After he went to Florida which is the only state (To my knowledge) that does not have malpractice insurence for docs which means that he can legally fk you up.
Dr.Pilli: through info from Prof.Montanari (Head of Ilizarov unit at Rizzoli institute of bologna which is considered one of the most advanced orthopedic centers in the world). The guy is a con artist. He is a "persona non grata" in Rizzoli hospital. The guy made alot of pubblicity for himself. Luckily for him, because he is only operates in a private hospital, the patients who get fked up can't do nothing because of how Italian medical-legal system works.
This is pretty much a summery of what I have learned. You can believe me or not... It's up to you... I post it because I care for many people here. Some are decent nice people, some are complete nutjobs and others are self loathing.
I wish that each one of you will make a decision that he will feel 100% with.

2) If you actually read my first paragraph of this post or what I wrote on my cancellation thread you would be able to see that I havent said that I have been "cured" of my height dysphoria.
3) This post, like the one before is not against LL but sharing information I gathered (How can I show proof of things people told me?) and I wrote that you can believe me or not since I dont care.
4) I am not trying to convince anyone to not do LL or to accept their height (I never spoke about pros and cons)
5) I have decided to stop posting stuff here or to read anything besides this thread or the few believable diaries since all the rest is talks from Height BDD people which only fuel more the BDD from which we are all suffering.
6) You like 99.9% of people here would not do LL not because anyone is trying to convince you not to or anything like that, but because just like the rest of the 99.9% of people here, you are either below 20 or mentally ill.
7) about posts on old forum? No height disphoria, just me asking why a guy goes on a second round of LL (which is pretty rare) when a member here who got to the same height decided no to
The BDD is strong with you if you take this post from me, which is only directed in order that future LLers will make a right choice which would save them their money and their bodies, as a way for me to convince others (and myself) that LL is a scam.
Go to Sringari or Sarin since they are reccomended by many.

I haven't said anything about it earlier since I only got to know about it three days ago... And since I never ever lied or spread false info on this forum, I kept the same line and decided that it was best to reveal that, so people wont decide against a doctor solely based on a false claim.
I did got enraged like a demon though. Because it completely destroyed my momentum... I stopped smoking precisly for the procedure and after seeing that post, I got completely pannicked so I resumed smoking...

As my signature implies, I have learned some stuff during this time.
1) My proportions are not pro tibia at all (based on X-ray)
2) There are other capable docs (I won't post anything about which ones because I decided that recommending a doc is too serious of a thing without doing it myself with the doc)
3) I still believe that Catagni is more than capable.
Main thing is that my proportions can't allow me to lengthen tibias almost at all so I might go for femurs.

But, as an Israeli I dont want to risk my legs with an arab doc (not racism, but hostility between arabs and Israelis is not only on the country level but it goes down to profound hatred all the way to the single person... So I dont want to risk my legs)

The only one here who is making a fool of himself is you crimsone. I can understand and I even have simpathy for your pain and sorrow. But from that to going to try to make up a story about me creating a fake account in order to persuade myself? I am not mentally ill like some members here (And I suspect you included).
I deleated you from my friend list as well as many other members I have spoken to outside of the forum because I was trying to get over the height thingy. Sadly I didnt. A relative asked me why I am still like this, so I said because I can't seem to accept my height (it was a month or two after the cancellation). He asked why did I cancel it. I said about an account who posted about getting crippelled. So the family member told me "I am going to admit, it was X idea to do this in order to scare you away from the surgery. We thought that if you will be super scared you will get this idea off your head and will accept what you got in life." I asked if this is true, and in order to be sure, I asked the account name and password and voila it was indeed a false account.
So again, you want to think that I am mentally ill (like you) that I will go all the way to make an act (and for what? I dont know anyone here personally so I dont know why you think I care about opinions about me here) then it means maybe it is something you are capable of.
