Hi tallertree,

I'm so happy that you've achieved what you wanted from your LL-experience and your diary has helped me tremendously I can't thank you enough!

A quick question, you mentioned you can't run yet, do you know when this will be possible? Also if you wanted to go to the gym and start weight lifting e.g deadlift/squats etc etc how long until this would be possible?

All the best for the future Internal femur with Dr. Betz 2018

No you dont feel the nail inside

I dont think its wise to do squats until the bone has healed. I will wait until my bone has healed completely until i start with heavy weight liftening.

tallertree,
You did a great job on your limblengthening!!!
I have read through your post and replies, and they are very impressive to us!!! You story is a great inspiration!!!
Could you please share some more of your daily life pictures or videos for us?
It is also kind of you posting your lastest X-rays before the end of 2018.
Best wishes!!!

Hi tallertree,

great diary! many thanks for that.

Why did you choose Betz but not Guichet for example? How long did you search for the right doctor?

Many thanks in advance and all the best!

My walking is basically normal now. My right leg is recovering slower than my left leg but its doing progress.

Before doing LL i did lots of research and came in contact with a guy who had done the surgery in Germany with Dr. Betz a few years ago. He was very satisfied with his process and that lead me to contact Dr. Betz and after having a consultation i was convinced he was the right man for the job. My LL process has been very smooth and Dr. Betz has been very professional.
