Update:
It's been a flying 4 months since my surgery. It's been a really quick recovery, I am now very busy studying in the school.

Right now, I have no pain at all, which means I am not having any pain medicine, however, I am still having 2 Calcium and 2 Vitamin D, to continue eating for at least 3 more months. My walking is getting much better without using the crane, but I am still swaying a bit and I still cannot climb the stairs without holding on to the railings, that might be because my bone hasn't recovered yet. I cannot do any sport which involves running for another 4-5 months until my bone fully recovered. The thing that surprised me is that I cannot feel any rods in my leg. My weight hasn't increased, I am still very skinny, weighing 45 kg,  have 9kg to reach my normal weight, but my appetite is getting much better compared to my time in the US.

I am continuing to do my normal exercise routine at home, 2 times a day and 2 PT sessions a week at the PT office. I hope that my walking will improve in the next two months and that I can return to sport by April next year.

good job justdoit! Few more months and you'll be back to normal.

I'm stretching 0-1X a day haha. Finally get to be a little lazy.

I'll be honest, you're head is the perfect size to get an extra 5cm tibia lengthening. It's a little on the larger side at your current height- It'll look perfect after your second surgery. You definitely look good right now. God it must feel amazing going from 158cm to almost 165cm. Definitely life changing. Happy for you fellow Chinese LLer. Add oil!

Hi Just Do It,

It’s been a while - I hope you are doing well.

May we get a video of your progress so we can see for ourselves how your walk etc is please.

This is the biggest decision most of us will be making in our life and a video will go an extremely long way! Thanks for the ones you’ve already posted, they really help. I defo am not able to tell who you are from your videos.. it’s like turning your back to the camera sorts out a lot of privacy concerns hmm.

Thanks!
