If you believe body modification along the lines of getting a tattoo or other cosmetic surgeries is a slight against God because it's altering the body He naturally gave you, then yes it's a sin.

If you consider CLL as a body improvement surgery, it could be good:

In my opinion being tall is not only a matter of aesthetics, a lot of times I miss being a bit taller.

Depending on your religion, I think if you believe in God gave you the body you were born in and unless you are disfigured by an accident you shall not seek to change it then I wouldn’t do this.

Is doing cosmetic limblenghtening surgery a sin?

I heard from an youtuber when he got LL done one of his co-workers said that body modification was a sin/insult to God since he was essentially mocking Gods plan and that God wouldn't make mistakes. Couple of weeks later the co-worker asked where and how to get LL done lol.

In Korea, body modification was an extreme no-no since we believe that it's an insult to our parents to change what they gave us that's why if you look at really old photo of Koreans back in 1800s/1900s you would see guys with tied hair and long beards since even cutting your own hair was like cutting your bond with your parents. Even 20-30 years ago tattoos and plastic surgery were considered sins but nowadays with celebrities actively coming out having plastic surgery these cultural norms are basically gone and it's pretty common to get body modificiation in Korea now.

If you believe these body modification processes are a sin, then you would likely think CLL is a sin.

  • Dyeing your hair to a different color
  • Going on a diet to lose weight
  • Working out at a gym to build more muscles
  • Any kind of cosmetic surgery

Lol I don’t understand why people ask these questions on here or any forum honestly. This would depend on the religion of the person and their  other beliefs which is literally different for everyone. A simple google search would give you the answer to your question.
