I live in central London, about 30-40 mins away from some of the LL surgeons. I live alone in a flat and don't have any family or friends nearby that can help. Frankly, I don't want to involve someone else anyway.
If I do something like Stryde or Precice 2, will I be able to live by myself during the lengthening and consolidation phase? Or do I need someone around to care for me?
Also, will I be able to work from home during this time?
PS: I am aware that Stryde is unavailable now, but I am planning on getting the surgery in 1-2 years from now when it should hopefully be available again.
Is it possible to live alone during lengthening and consolidation?

Stryde is not even on the same level.
Stryde definitely possible. Though a caretaker for the first few days would be great.
No, precice 2 no, just no. Possible yes. But very very bad. Crippled young man as precice.
Wfh is possible yes but mentally is tough and you definitely need a break some time. Doesn't matter your "willpower"
Thank you! Hopefully Stryde becomes available in 1-2 years then.
What do you mean by caretaker? Someone who lives with you the whole day? Wouldn't that be extremely expensive?

Help you get up to move a lil. Etc. Stryde honestly most ppl don't need a caretaker after like 3-4 days. You may also want someone on call 24/7 incase you feel like you health is at risk
Oh okay, that doesn't sound that bad
Thank you!
