im my honest opinion at 5'6 I think I am at the cursed height. I think from 5'6 you aren't short but your noticeably not tall. I'm not saying 5'7 is the magic number but I know guys at 5'7 and I feel this is the crossover from short to average... i know people say it is 5'9 or 5'10 but in reality this is the height range most men are lying and adding two inches... and so with a decent shoe you'll be 5'8 and with fashionable boots you're 5'9 and itll make a huge difference for you dude. Do it. Its worth it.
I think it is. You'll go from very short to short. In fact, I think short people get the most benefit. The taller you get, the more height dysphoria is all in your head.
But the bad news is the more LL you do, the more wobbly you get by default. I'm always on the lookout for a nice pair of thin-soled shoes.
Hi shallowsociety
I think it would be worth it. 5'7" is jut 1-2 inches below average. With a lift or a nice fashion, you will never be called a short guy or something. Plus, with 3 inches gain, your legs will look much longer so you will look much taller than other guys at 5'7". It is also about me treating myself. I was really unhappy about my height especially very short legs with a long huge upper body. I didn't look good no matter how much I tried before, because of my short legs with a long torso. Now, I am very happy about my body and proportion. Plus, the height was not something I chose. I am the person who wants to improve and to change, if possible. I couldn't accept why I need to live with this height that I didn't choose, since there is a way to change this. So I did what I could do to change myself. I know if I didn't do cll, I would regret it in my whole life. Now I have done it, so I will never regret it.
Good luck!

Hello gosthfish, glad you did it. Which was your starting height?
The problem is that I already have a wingspan which is perfectly the same as my 'starting' height.
Hi shallowsociety
My previous height was 5'7". It was not too bad. I didn't wear lifts and felt generally ok, although I did feel short once in a while, especially during basketball game or a party. My biggest complaint was my short legs with a big long upper body. I think if you have long nice legs with 5'7" and a lift, you will feel much more confident. I also have a relatively short wingspan, which was a little over my previous height. After cll, no one so far have made any comment on my arms and I think they don't look that bad just a little short side. If I were you, I will definitely consider cll.
