I come from a South East Asian country and to me it's a lot more money and it is to yours. Yet, if I ever do it, I wouldn't risk my safety by doing it in India or Korea for the sake of saving costs.

This is a lot of money to even us here in the west. There are cheaper doctors that aren't all dangerous. I'm sure if you went to Korea you would be in good hands since it's a developed country. Parihar in India also seems like an ok option.

I am wondering how much the decrease in athletic mobility that I'll suffer from getting a surgery in Korea compared to in Paley Institute.

Another thing to consider is that I don't like Korea at all, I get along more with Western environment.

That doesn't make sense at all.

What do you mean? Do you believe that your legs/body will have the exact same strength, power and balance post surgery as your original legs? From my research, it told me otherwise.

I mean that using the same nail and the same rate of lengthening should cause the same results both in Korea and in Paley Institue should everything go well (the mangement of complication should be better in Paley institute). However, no one can tell you how much a decrease in athlethism will happen and of course it cannot be compared between both places.

You should try, don't listen here the fans of greedy doctors
For example I'm planning to ask doctors if they can do 2 unilateral surgery at the same price of one bilateral. If time is not your problem and you're more worried about safety, you should try.
This would allow you also to avoid mercenary doctors

Only merchants bargain their charges.
If you want better prices then most probably the serious doctors will reject you as a patient.

And if you don't have enough money simply don't go to Rozbruch or Paley. It is stupid to want to buy a ferrari with the money that a Honda costs.
After all there are very serious doctors with half the money. But if you only want Paley then find the money he wants or don't do LL.
