Also went to double check some place else for peace of mind. It’s hard to ignore the numbers especially when every little counts in this process. Sorry that was your case. What’s your process like now with LL?

I got LL 3 years ago. I just randomly found this website 2 days ago and got interested.
I only got super depressed about the endocrinologist in my teens. I always thought I was 175 because that was what the doctor told me and he also fooled me that if I take medication for 2 more years I would become 180. I was happy because I was a short 17 year old boy but then I heard a bunch of my classmates once talking about height and one of them said he was 174 which shocked the shoot out of me cause I was much shorter than him. So I got suspicious and measured my height at home and I was like 169-170. Then I realized what a fraud that piece of shoot Doctor was.

Didn't you say on another post you were average height? How is 169 average? Also, 4-5cms do not make you much shorter than someone else
Agreed their is a noticeable height difference when your 5+ cm taller than someone...

I live in a country where that is about average. People aren't really tall here.
And what I meant about the height difference is that I was shocked because I was shorter than the person who was 174 but I was supposed to be 1cm taller. That came as a huge shock. It is like being told you are smarter than someone else but when the grades come out you are much lower

C'mon dude. 5cm is pretty noticable. If it weren't noticable people wouldn't pay thousands just to get 2 inch tibia lengthening

So you basically came here to say you look horrible now and that's it?... Mm pretty credible. I agree that 3 inches on one segment doesnt look very good but still weird thing to do 3 years post op

I happened to visit this website around the time when some artistic guy claimed the average in his highschool was like 10cm higher than his country's average height and talked about proportions so I shared my experience which I regret doing.
