Hi I was using the search function, but I didn't quite get the information that I was looking for.
Regarding knee flexion for LON Femur vs Femur pure internal, I have the following questions:
1. After the operation, is knee flexion worse for LON due to the monorail?
2. After the monorail removal - if 1. is true - will the knee flexion improve drastically?
3. I read in an article that the knee flexion is limited by the long screws that are used for the monorail. Based on that I assumed that it has to be so much more difficult to bend the knee for LON patients only.
The starting flexibility does play a role and will affect the data, but if possible, I would appreciate if you could write you Femur lengthening method (LON or internal), and knee flexion results during the whole process in this format:
Method: Femur - LON or internal
Knee flexion
- after OP:
- half-way during lengthening:
- 1 week after final length:
- 1-2 months after final length:
