I had rods removed from both tibias and femurs about 5 weeks ago. My knees still hurt quite a bit though, one when bending and the other when walking. Anyone experience something similar? Granted one of my knees also had issues before the removal but the other was great Knee pain after rod removal?

Give it time. It can take up to 2 years to fully recover according to cyborg4life. But doing tibia lengthening does give you potential long term knee pain by going trougth the patella tendon.
