Has anyone here requested a leave of absence from school (grad school)? I am waiting for stryde and will likely be requesting a LOA for 'medical reasons'.
Ideally, I'd want to secure the LOA without disclosing exactly what I'm doing. I'm in the US as well. I was wondering for those of you who have received the LOA, how the surgeon/their office was able to provide you medical documentation. It seems like it would be easier to officially request the LOA after undergoing the surgery but I am unsure.
I'd also be interested in hearing from those who requested LOAs from work and how you went about providing medical documentation.
Please PM me if you don't feel comfortable posting. Thanks!
