Leg extension contractures, poor ROM 3 months Precice 2.2 - Help? have a feeling this above might be edited the next time I see this thread

I'm sort of just waiting for things to get difficult, right now at around 5.5 cm femurs with gnail things are great, my ROM is improving, my walking is improving, my pain is decreasing, its maybe the calm before the storm

I have heard that around 7 or more people's legs start getting hard and what not

I'm hoping things remain smooth until I reach my goal of 7cm and avoid the problems in this thread --but logically I know that things should be getting difficult soon based on threads like this

Its interesting, like gnail/betzbone patients tend to lengthen more than precise on average I feel--- but in some weird way I feel like I should do less length and stick to 7 with gnail because I can't shorten the legs if I do too much.

Whereas precise patients it seems like can either 1) shorten the legs before consolidation if need be 2) if its too late, they can later break the legs again and shorten the legs if they run into problems later

You’re right, I meant 10mm   Leg extension contractures, poor ROM 3 months Precice 2.2 - Help?

Honestly, I am almost at 4 months on this surgery, and everybody’s experience varies. It sounds like you’re coming out of this surgery and lengthening a lot better than me. I’m glad to hear that because I wouldn’t wish the stuff I went through on anyone.

Hope your lengthening is going well as we move in to the holidays; you’re almost there!!

it was recommended by DR D to me , that anytime during lengthening phase if server pain is felt , take a day off .  I took total 10 days off during 80mm lengthening to let my body catch up .
