7 cm is so much in tibias and after the surgery you can regret because the pain and the tissue are much more rigid than with 6 cm. I think go from 6 to 7 is a big difference in the recovery.

I want a quick recovery because i want next year second Op .
6 cm is ok for me. Tibia should be painful So I practice stretching every day to reduce the pain.
My biggest problem is i just stopped smoking last week 5 weeks before op.I hope this will not be a problem.

If you want fast recovery and will be getting 2nd segment asap, don't exceed 5 cm. Do 6.5 cm on the second one for femurs. You'll end up about 172 cm which is 5'7.5''.

Forget that idea. my surgery in tibias was 2 years ago the first leg and now i'm starting to be better.
You need 2 years at least to do the next surgery.

What method did you do? How many cm did you extend ?
2 years are very long. I have friends who are after 6 cm extension without restrictions. They can even run

i did internal tibias 6 cm perhaps a little bit, 6,5. internal tibias with fitbone.
I can run too, but the recovery is now 2 years ago when i feel that it is faster.
You can wait 2 bad years.

2 years recovery tibia and 2 years recovery femur = 4 years recovery.  Too much long for second surgery.
