Hi guys!

I am new here and to this topic and I guess what I want sounds strange to you. I am already 1,85 which is 6'1 in American measurements and I feel to short. I would like to be at least 1,92. I have read about limb lengthering and I am scared about the costs and risks. I am from Germany and we have one famous doctor here, his name is Dr. Betz, and the price for a surgery is expensive as hell. I will never be able to afford 60k for this surgery in Germany.

So, my question is: Is there any cheap and trustworthy doctor that offers LL? My max would be 15k.

Futhermore, I have put inlays in my shoes and I reach 1,88 and I still feel short. I know this must sound very strange to you but this is the way I feel.

Thanks in advance.

I'd kill to be as tall as you but I kinda understand you. Germans are naturally tall and you should come across lots of guys 6'3+ on a daily basis hence your height insecurity. Well, your best bet would be internal on femurs but it's quite expensive, you could reach 7-8cm on that alone. If going for something cheaper is your priority then do tibias with externals, you'll save money but it's brutal as you'll be bedridden for months and the farthest you can go is 5-6cm.
I still think, though, that in your case surgery is kinda extreme. Your problem is in your head, you are not short, not tall either but above average. 6'1 is a great stature to be as a male anywhere in the world even in Western countries. Will still there be guys taller than you that will make you feel "inferior" per se, yeah of course but 6'1 is manly and you can attract, arguably, any girl at that height so I think you should just own it. LL is risky and a trade-off between getting taller and sacrificing your athletic abilities. I'd prefer any day to be 6'1 but able to run normally and play sports at my best level than to be 6'3 or 6'4 and semi-crippled, struggling to jog let alone play sports and possibly feel pain anytime you do anything physical that involves your legs. So yeah, this isn't a walk in the park. You probably would like someone to come here and pat your back, incentivize you to get this done, tell you everything will be alright and you'll live happier ever after but that's not the reality here, that's a fairytale. I'm not saying for you not to get LL just alerting so you can be aware of the risks.

Thank you for your answer! I appreciate it so much. I  am using inlays and reach 1,88 and with boots even 1,91 but still feel the need of getting taller.

So you say that you would rather do nothing? Isn't it possible to grow a bit with hormones or through stretching and hanging?

Thanks!

Nah man
your case is not stange but my friend .You pay what you get.
Dr Betz is not expensive compare to american doctors.
But only 15k .You can afford only indian docs. They will ruin your beautiful life.
My advice is You have to wait till u can afford best doctor in US or Betz or Guichet(france) not spanish docs

Betz is just a 2 hours drive from my home away. But I cant believe the prices for such things. I will never be able to pay 50k for a surgery like this.

I am sure that you have psychiatrists much more near. And they are relatively cheap.
Go there, some pills may help you.

Hey bro best of luck if you do go through with it can you answers a few questions for research purposes if you don’t mind

1 what is your sitting height
2 what is your wingspan
3 what is your morning height
4 what is your inseam

Obviously if you don’t want to answer it’s ok I’m just curious and on that Russian doctors tend to be quite popular here their more cheaper then American doctors the only problem is that I can’t name any because I really don’t know many but their are a few diaries about them on this forum, not sure if their cheaper then your German doctors though so hopefully I helped a little

I want the information because my lengthening goal is around 6’1-6’2 and what to know if I’d be proportionate at that height

What's your current height/wingspan? I'm curious because my goal is around 6'0-6'1.
