Hi I was wondering about limb shortening. I am not sure If this is the right place to post this since this is a limb lengthening forum. However I have seen a few posts related to limb shortening. I was wondering a few questions. First how much can you shorten your limbs? Is you leg the only limb that you can (or should) shorten? How much does this cost? What are the side effects of this surgery? Also what are the scars like? any pictures? What are the best doctors to go to for this (regardless of money).

We need a bit more information than "i'm too tall". Your height etc?

There are doctors that will perform limb shortening under certain circumstances but barely anybody do this when comparing it to lengthening.
Even kids with leg discrepancy have their other leg lengthen not shortened.

5'8 and you think you are too tall? Where are you living that you think so?
Imho it's really not healthy to think that 5'8 is "too tall", I really expected someone way above 6 foot(we had already someone like that).

Yes and the fact that people wish to be taller not shorter. I recommend to contact Dr. Paley or Dr. Birkholtz for more information.

You're not even tall, let alone too tall.

Maybe you don't like your current proportions but you're definitely not tall.

Hmm, the only possible scenario I can see 5'8 being really tall is you being a girl in a 3rd world country. Am I right?
