List of DEATHS Caused by LL in the United States

Hey guys,

I'm 166 cm (5'5.5) and hope to do LL one day to be at least 5'8 or 173 cm, maybe getting to 5'9 or 5'10.

I was wondering if we could please compile a list of deaths that happened in the United States by any surgeon offering this procedure. I know that many European/Indian/Turkish doctors are sketchy and deaths have happened abroad, and I certainly hope for a day in which short guys can grow taller without literally risking their lives and bodies.

Read the horrifying story of Yush Gupta dying even when he was 5'7 and was not "THAT" short and going to the butcher named Guichet and I am scared of even doing such a horrible procedure. Yes my dad and my uncles and cousins are all at least 5'8 and I am the shortest man in the family and I would have greater success with girls if I was taller, but I would not want to lose my life doing LL.

Do top LL surgeons like Dr. Paley and Dr. Rozbruch tell patients the risk of death beforehand?

In my opinion, most of the fatal cases could have been prevented. The story of Yush also scared me at the beginning.  However, he had all the symptoms of a classic pulmonary embolism (coughing, pain in the chest etc.). Unfortunately, he refused going to the ER even after his father told him to do so.

Other fatal cases often relate to the choice of "butchers" who operate in the jungle, like India, Turkey etc.

My suggestions for a safe procedure:

1.) Choose one of the best ll surgeon and follow his/her instructions throughout the procedure. There are only around five doctors worldwide I would trust.

2.) Take advantage of modern wearables like a smartwatch for monitoring blood oxygen, heart rate etc.

3.) Do ultrasound scans on a regulary basis to check for DVT

And if you want to do a super safe procedure:
