live in nyc choosing between paley and dr rozbruch

Hi everyone, currently living in nyc, thinking about going through this procedure in 2024 with new precise x, just getting feedbacks on whether to go with dr rozbruch or paley since i live in nyc,
does dr rozbruch have post surgery program like paley's?

any advise is appreciated.

Provided that PMax will indeed be released in 2024, (not sure yet), I would choose Roszbruch as being equally experienced with Paley, younger than Paley, and well located for you.

Rozbruch allows patients to return home for lengthening and PT. You being local to NYC would be able to do PT at HSS and I expect have a therapist with LL patient experience there.

I would recommand paley if you can afford as he has done more number of surgeries, not only bone lengthening but also holds good knowledge in spines.

just talked to paley's team, the precise x will be available to their team by April 2024.

i would prefer to stay in nyc, instead of going to stay in florida for 3 months.

if finance is not a problem, should i go with dr rozbruch instead of paley?

Isnt it better to be close to the docs and use their PT team while lengthening, and possibly during some of the consolidation?

I’m just thinking they must have the best PTs and facilities for LL so maybe Florida isnt that bad an option?

You need to take that with a grain of salt. I booked my surgery in May when Paley Institute followed up with me saying November release, then it was pushed to Dec/Jan, then pushed just like two months ago to February. Now they are apparently saying April. Someone else recently shared Nuvasive rep told them hopefully in 2Q24 release. Yes, it certainly could be out in April but given the track record a further delay beyond April is very likely.

I wonder what precice x consist of? Hopefully adding more weight to the nail. They probably testing it on patients right now.

From my current research, definitely Paley just because he has more successful cases and more experience than rozbruch

Rozbruch is one of the best surgeons, with some of the best results i’ve ever had the honor to work with.
At that point it’s fair to say that 30 years of experience is enough live in nyc choosing between paley and dr rozbruch
