hi i am pizza.

Is it a good idea to do limb lengthening alone in a foreign country? i have money but don't have any one to stay with me during LL. my parents are old and cannot travel to foreign country with me. They don't want me to do LL but they are not stopping me either.

some problems doing LL alone = boredom, anxiety, who will help me if i have complications, what if my bank suddenly blocks my card, what if i suddenly need to transfer more money from my home country. US is a 15 hour flight for me and if i have problems literally no one will be able to help me. i have a cousin who lives in new york but i can't even take her help because i don't want to mention LL to her.

i think there are extremely low people who do LL alone in foriegn country.  is this true?

if i do LL in home country I should use some old method like ilizarov or be a guinea pig for precice. can someone counsel me pls?

thank u but I would rather go for US for this surgery. i don't know much about giotikas.

its hard to make plans with another LLer stranger because what if you cancel the surgery last minute due to fear? i have myself wanted to not do LL a few times in the past because it seems a bit extreme.

ideally we should be independent and go with family. making friends along the way can be a good bonus
