I’ve been considering trt due to having two blood tests with a very low total despite living a healthy lifestyle. I am concerned about two things though. One is that TRT might accelerate bone healing too much. Even if the trt dosage puts you in a normal range, it never will fluctuate due to a normal Dailey pulsatile rhythm or things like sleep or recovering from surgery. So since it will stay elevated even during recovery and testosterone promoted bone healing, could it heal to quickly for the soft tissue to keep up? The other issue is that trt increases red blood cell count and risk of stroke, blood clot etc. In fact some people on trt have to donate blood to deal with this.
Those are my two concerns, what fo you guys think? If you guys can think of anything else or maybe even the good effects of trt during this surgery let me know!

What is the point of asking this? If I have hypogonadism I need trt regardless of my age because I have the levels of a 80 year old.
