I underwent LON about 16 months ago and I've recovered pretty well so far - I'm planning on going on a holiday with friends and I'm a bit nervous about the airport security
While I know they won't broadcast an X-ray of my legs for all to see I remember when I was coming back from India they waved a hand-held metal detector around my legs for ages before sending me into a special X-ray booth - I wouldn't really want my friends to see that. I will obviously try to go through security separate to my friends but it might not be possible.
I'm wondering if anyone could share their experiences for going through airport security with metalwork in their legs? Especially with a group of people you know.
Thanks!!
