Hi, I’m new to limb lengthening and I would like to know about the costs in Turkey. I reside in Turkey, so I am interested in only the surgical prices (excluding accommodation, etc.). Additionally, do I need to remain in the hospital for months, or is it possible to be at home during the lengthening and consolidation process post-surgery? Thank you.

I have encountered similar sentences frequently. Is limb lengthening painful or dangerous?

Consultations can be scheduled to discuss pricing. In this instance, the initial cost was roughly $15,000 USD, which has now risen to about $20,000 USD for limb lengthening (LL) procedures in Turkey using the LON Femur method. A minimum hospital stay of 5 days is necessary at the outset, with an extra day for the removal procedure at the end, totaling 6 days in the hospital in total; the remaining recovery can be carried out at home.

– Several individuals undergoing limb lengthening (LL) using LON on the femur complain about the excruciating pain.
– Furthermore, some patients experience permanent limited range of motion, also known as joint stiffness.
– The scarring is notably more severe when using LON.
– Moreover, there is a higher risk of developing deep infections or pinsite infections.
– The process is also considerably more uncomfortable.

The additional cost associated with Precice is certainly justified, with the only downside being the requirement for non-weight bearing!
