First, I am a very short guy. I am not even 160cm tall so I am planning to lengthen twice, 5cm tibia plus 7cm femur for a total of 12cm lengthening. The question is which one should I do first?
My plan is to do LON tibia for 5cm first, first because its cheaper and secondly I want the bigger external scars to become minimal once I am at my final height. I am now considering G-Nail and precice for femurs due to the issue with stryde.
- Should I choose G-Nail with Giotikas or Betz? Or is Precice the better option for femurs right now?
- Should I continue with the plan to do tibia lengthening first or should I do femurs first?
- Would winter be a bad time to do it if I decide to go to Germany for the lengthening? Does weather/temperature affect lengthening in any way?
- I think I have LLD, I used to wear a 1cm lift - left shoe to help with the back pain caused by LLD. I dont know if the LLD is caused by shorter femur or tibia though. Do you think this discrepancy should be a factor in choosing which procedure to do first?
Thanks

Thanks. I thought G-nail is the same as Betz nail, just called differently by Giotikas.
