Hello,

I had femur limb lengthening and I'm currently at 42mm in distraction phase. I have widelegs (both legs are 66cm apart) due to tight IT bands. I'm seeking help from LL veterans. What stretches should I do? Will I ever get back to normal? How severe is my condition? I'm doing TFL and hip flexor stretches daily in conjunction with PT.

Thank you

My wide legs began around 30mm, and they were around 80mm at their widest.

1) Did you perform ITB release?

2) The most effective exercise is to lie on the bed facing up while trying to close your legs.

3) Stretch a lot more. 2 hours a day at your width.

You need to resolve the legs ASAP, as it will hide problems with your hip flexors, making it a bigger problem later.
