hi all, earlier in some diaries (don't remember details) had read about people losing like 1 cm but yesterday when this forum was down I was going through old forum and I read in one diary that a guy who did like 2.5 inches lost 1 inch !! That is scary given what people have to go through in LL. Any inputs on this topic? thanks

Depending on how the person did the surgery, internal or external, then the outcome would be rather different.

From my understanding it looks like the rods that are pushed within the bones of the person
who has an internal LL has the rods in there for a very long time after the actual lengthening part.

Perhaps someone could lose height due to the muscles stretching back and if the external LL is done
and if it hasnt healed fully then maybe, just maybe, it could withdraw back.

But that's just my guess. Never had any LL myself nor have i ever seen someone write that they lost
height after any form of LL.

Cheers.

So, you believe internal has lower chance of height lose compared to external?
