Does Catagni have any opinion or judgement on proportion and ratio with tibiae?

your bone will 90% bend if frames are taken off in sept

you basically had your surgery at the beginning of may and will lengthen 7 cm...

and youre saying frames come off in sept.... you will  have issues most likely

Hi guys,

yesterday I had my consultation, and Catagni told me that my frames will be probably removed at the end of October, one month later than his expectations. I'm now doing more distraction in order to put the bones really in line, and I'll probably gain one centimeter more. Next consultation: 17 August.
Crimsontide: Catagni told me that my regeneration is really good, this is the reason why I'll be probably remove the frames earlier than usual.
If you guys are considering the lengthening of tibiae, I really suggest you to go with Catagni, my legs are really fine and everything went in the best way.
Polycrates: I don't know if I get what your question means, but Catagni don't perform femours lengthening because he thinks that tibiae lengthening gave as result better proportions.

Oh one more thing: on next consultation Catagni is going to remove some of the screws, this is probably done in order to put more weight on my callus.

When you say put the bones in line do you mean like you have bow legs?

I mean that segments, after the distraction, are not perfectly aligned... My legs were not bowed before surgery fortunally, but after the distraction, segments are not in axis. I'm now moving day by day the lower segment, in order to correct that (minimum) dilasignment.

I can't detect anything abnormal from the picture, you look totally fine (minus having frames on your legs Lumiere - External Tibiae with Dr. M. Catagni (Italy)).

Just surprised that you're allowed the frames off so early with externals. Your bone consolidation must be incredibly speedy.

You look excellent now, but I would NOT lengthen any more or your proportions will go downhill fast. But you do look great now. Congratulations.
