Anyone on this forum who has gotten leg lengthening done have to undergo manipulation under anesthesia? They are discussing forcing my range of motion and I am terrified. Completed the full 8cm, and 1 year post op I can not bend my legs all the way.

Did very intense physical therapy week over week, and then I kneel/stretch almost daily. Unfortunately I cant get my heel close to my butt yet. Unsure of what to expect, but the doctor who is removing my rods wants to force my legs to bend while I'm asleep.  Manipulation Under anesthesia 1 year post-op - Femur Lengthening

I would absolutely not let them do this.  Theres no reason physical therapy cant get you to where you need to be.  Maybe you need to push it harder.  Someone forcing your legs to bend in ways that they otherwise wouldnt sounds like a great way to tear ligaments in your knees or something.
