Sorry if I make u confusing. But I don’t know why it’s broke, maybe not consolidation enough( but that is my thinking- Dr allow to remove nails so it should be consolidation) as I said  , I can’t reach with my Dr, only with Dr’s assistant and they said this is weird.

My picture at Hospital now.
I spent 1 hours to find out best way to post pic but still in privacy. I am still waiting for the surgery tomorrow ( I hope so ) ( I went to ER not my original surgery Dr the limb lengthening)

I am really disappointed because I can’t talk with Dr this whole day…

To be clear again What happened to me : I ready to woke up in this morning and ready to wash face, but not had chances to do it yet, a boom sound inside my leg come up. Still in bed not even get up yet. I was out of my mind didn’t know what was going on and Didn’t know why it happened, Doctor didn’t tell me why. Then call 911, Dr assistant  and go to ER.

Obviously it's because the bone wasn't healed fully enough for the nails to be taken out. Or the screw holes create a weakness until they are completely filled up.

Sorry to hear this DreamerLL. I am praying for your swift recovery.

Did you get your nail removed in the US with the original surgeon?

I can’t sleep tonight , yes all in and out by original Doctor in the US. It’s been round 12 months since I did the LL. Will post Xray pic but I am concerning  about privacy.

How many months has it been since your surgery? Have you been running or jumping in the 4 days previous to the breakage? And how old are you if you don't mind us asking?

These all play a factor.

If you plan to put the xray pic obviously blur your name and upload it on imgur after creating an account there. That way you can delete the pic whenever you want. Imgur lets you delete pics if you are logged in.

Are you from outside the US?

One more speculation I can make is that it has to do something with osteolysis caused by Stryde nails. But we should wait for your surgeon to answer you.

12 months , Doctor allowed me to remove nails , so….! No never run or jump since I put those nails in and out. I am early 30s. I am very cautious, didn’t run although Dr allow me to run.
