The elongation should be urgently reduced by 0.75 mm or even 0.5 mm per day. It's completely normal if you do 1 mm per day. who is your doctor?

With 1mm per day at about 4-5cm, it is expected to develop nerve pain. In most cases, it goes away some time after frame removal. That is what I have seen. But, I would suggest not to risk nerve damage and immediately reduce the lengthening rate to 0.75 or even 0.5mm

For my nerve pain issues in tibial regions, alpha lipoic acid (ALA) helped immensely. Took them first thing in the morning. Started off on 400mg for two weeks, then moved to 600mg for two weeks and then took 1000mg for 4 weeks. Nerve pain tapered off by week 3. I stayed on these throughout lengthening stage then moved on to TB 4 frag max. Hope your pain goes away.

oh dam i wish i can go walgreens right now and buy that. im taking gabapentin after a few research. im using an icepack on the burning part of my foot. which helps alot i can lay down straight. did a 20 min bike ride. my pt says when i leave my leg hanging down from my bed it relieves the veins in my leg and helps alot, the burning goes away.

They are giving me alot of b6 and magnesium and methlycobal and gabapentin. I should be taking at least 3 gabapentin pills but they are giving me 2 pills At 300mg each. Will probably go with the surgery even with the pain. Hopefully I don't get much pain and get amnesia at the same time. It's only when I'm laying down with my legs straight I get a burning sensation.

I would recommend considering stopping the lengthening process once you reach 4 cm on your tibia. A skilled doctor typically advises against exceeding this threshold to avoid potential complications with soft tissues. It's important to prioritize your overall well-being, not just the height.
