Hello, I’d like to hear some opinions. My goal is to increase my height by about 10–12 cm. I’m based in Germany and have a budget of 50–70K euros.

I’ve been considering femur lengthening of around 10 cm with Dr. Becker, but I’m concerned that extending a single segment by that much might be too much. Are there alternative approaches I should explore? For example, are there experienced and reputable doctors who perform quadrilateral lengthening within this price range?
Or should I stick with Dr Becker/Betz?

I’d appreciate any suggestions.

Id rather choose Giotikas, Parihar, Assayag, Gdalevitch, Paley, Mahboubian, Rozbruch etc before betz.

Is Giotikas still recommended? Didnt he cause a femur non union because a bad osteotomy (in addition to death)?

Pili has the best results in Europe, and the prices are within your budget. Since you are so close to Italy, I would rather to go to him.

I’d recommend this doctor to you. But he usually recommends tibial lengthening because it’s safer and results in less scarring.

I will have surgery with Dr Fatih Arslanoglu by the end of this month. A friend of mine already had surgery and recovered smoothly. I will have LON tibia. They also do quadrilateral surgery aswell. I recommend them if you are still looking for a decent place.

I did femurs with g-nails last year with him and I can assure you he is the best!  Don't believe everything you read around, influencers and competitors hate Giotikas because he doesn't pay commissions to "advertisers of all sorts" (his words Need suggestions) and  because he offers the best value-for-money ratio in the West! and they have no other way to fight this axcept for defamation!
I know all thes cases you mention!!  There has never been a non-union due to a bad osteotomy or any other non-union in the femur whatsoever! Only a delayed union in a panicked patient which eventually progressed to full union; but the influencers or the patient never bothered to update anyone!!
The death was scrutinized andattributed to parameters unrelated to the surgery. There were never any claims or charges or blame against the doctor!

Hey Linus,

I would and will go with Becker (Betz doesn't operate anymore).

Have a nice evening!
