Concept design: The two operating mechanisms have been completed.
I am now finalizing the detailed design and preparing the necessary documentation for the patent application. I will devote more time to this to complete it as soon as possible.
It can be updated on a weekly or monthly.

Man, Kudos for you to start this HUGE enterprise !
But, you have to understand, this could take 10 years to be tested patented and accepted by all specialists... And then you have to talk about the production cost and collateral expenses...

Some time will also be needed for training of surgeons to use the new system. It'll be a long process, and painful, but maybe our kids will all know about the nvafee nail?  New LL Nail Design - Optimized Research is just stupid long nowadays, we can't be like ilizarov experimenting on his patients.

But he is correct to patent it first. Maybe his new mechanism idea is really good and then every big corporation will want to buy it from him. Then production cost won't be a problem.

And then he's going to say I'm from the big corporation lol.

If you could make it fully weight bearing as well, like many potential patients are wishing and waiting for from nuvasive, you would have better product than nuvasive at all fronts!

Yes, my design is fully weight‑bearing, meeting the fourth design criterion. However, I do not recommend overusing it for walking during the lengthening process. While the nail can support full weight under normal gait, any incident—such as a fall, impact, or accident—could overload it, causing bending or, worse, fracture.

With this design, lengthening beyond 10 cm is achievable, and I’m deciding whether to go for 10 cm or 12 cm.

Its not about what you want !... Its all about what is safe for human body.
Thats why the Precice was designed and limited to 8 cm, so it can be prevented accidents, disproportions and cripples.
Otherwise, all 5 feet tall desperate guys will lengthen like crazy, unlimited, destroying their health...

Leg lengthening nails are not used solely for cosmetic purposes. In certain medical conditions, such as limb length discrepancies, lengthening of over 10 cm may be required.
I’m aware of cases where a shortened tibia has been lengthened by as much as 18 cm.

If you can make this affordable and reliable, you may start to notice a decline in LL prices.
