Excruciating pain...hahaha.
LL has many drawbacks and risks but excruciating pain is not one of them. The majority of LL'ers have tolerable pains and some, like me, have almost no pain at all.
CLL in your 50's is excruciating, at least in my experience.
What were the main problems you or the doctor attributed to age? Pain, non union,...? Could you do normal to intense physiotherapy or age was an issue on that also?
May I also ask if you are in early or late 50s?
