Hello,

In case you do externals and after 2 cm Xrays show no callus forming around the bone cut. What are your options? Of course, consultation with the surgeon is the first and foremost, but in general should you consider stopping lengthening? Or on the other hand, take the risk and continue, but start using treatments for bone stimulation i.e. ultrasound or electromagnetic frequencies and take lots of Calcium, D, and K2 supplements such as Jarrows Bone up pills.

In the worst-case scenario what are the most popular treatments of nonunions and what are the most innovative i.e. bioresorbable bone implants. I'm curious when they are actually will be used in human trials?

Thanks

I haven't done surgery yet, just weighing in all the possibilities. Thinking about Dr. Solomin in 2021/2022 4-5 cm external LATN tibias.
