Hi everyone,

I want to do limb lengthening one leg (femur) at a time, because I can't stay in the bed or using the weelchair, I just want to lengthen 4 cm using internal fixation. What do you think?

Sorry for my english

Best regards

Thanks for yours comments. I can take leaves 6 months (no salary of course), so my plan is doing surgery, stay at hospital 3 or 4 days then go home doing leg lengthening for 1 month and a half, and 1 month and a half for consolidation then doing the other leg, after 6 months i’m done with 4cm taller (of course I want more however I just have 6 months while doing routine activity). Finally go back to work walking unassisted. Do you think it can be done?

I was on crutches once, with one healthy leg I could do normal things, however with two broken legs I think it would be very difficult and exhausted, I don't want to rely on someone. Is there anyone in this forum did that before.
