Need to convince the airport guys to let you through? They scan you but their scanners are only millimeter radio waves I believe and can't see the device in you. If the device sets off the metal detectors at the airport, what documentation do you need with you to convince them to let you through?

I have Stryde nails in my legs.  Of course, whenever I went through the security in the airport.  They found me different and checked me again with their some sort of detector or hands.  Then they realized I have rods inside and let me through.  Normally, they don't make too much fuss about it.  Although I don't know whether they knew or found I did CLL, I was able to get to airplane without problem.  However, I don't really feel good to be found by the security so I try not to take airplane if possible.

Thank you. It sounds like Styrde sets of alarms? I wonder if I should bring my xrays with me on the airplane though it sounds like they don't care and somehow a detector can verify you had a medical device. Since I'm from the east coast and Mahoubian is on the west coast, I'll probably take a plane.

And then I realized until the rod is removed, this will happen everytime you go on a plane.
