I think Kohne and Assayag are cheaper.

Neither of them use weightbearing nails though. Maybe Giotikas would be better "cheaper " alternative for Becker, becouse he uses G-nail. GiotikAS also seems very experienced.

His quote for me was less. Betz nails aren't really weight bearing in the sense you'll be moving around freely.

I am not saying I'd go for Assayag or Kohne but I would want to know a lot more about Becker's training and number of cases before going with him. The amount of promotional diaries on here about him that have all suddenly appeared is a big red flag for me.

Rozbruch for me is the best but the cost is extortionate

I agree suspicion makes sense here, however when you look at all external factors it's no surprise Becker would be getting a lot of cases. He's the sucessor to the most well-known cll doctor in the heart of Europe, offers a competitive price, and the best nail. I know previously I was looking at all the American docs, but the discontinuation of Stryde has made Becker my #1 choice as of right now. If his practices were truly bad, Germany would not allow it, they have a high standard. So yes I think it may be a little more risky than going to someone like Donghoon Lee or some of the more respected American docs, but as long as your careful and aren't insanely mentally ill and try to do 12cm femurs or ignore PT, you should be fine.

I think you should go for Giotikas. He seems to have the most experience compared to the price you pay, and can offer G-nail which is weightbearing, that can make the journey much easier!

Great replies!

I think right now Giotikas vs Becker -- a big factor to consider is Becker has access to betzbone 2.0 for tibias if you want to do weight bearing tibias some day and stick to the same doctor

But if Giotikas gets access to a weight bearing tibia nail some day (for weight bearing options, he only uses gnail for femurs now), this will make them alot more even

And there are options like Paley for people with alot of money-- but he just doesn't have access to a weight bearing nail at all. But he does have his reputation/good record

I still think for people who are very light weight, weight bearing vs non weight bearing doesn't matter as much. Like if you are very light weight you will be able to do the two leg walker hop (both legs land on the ground at the same time) decently early for moderate distances without worrying too much about damaging the nail.

Ex: for alot of very very small women or very slim men, why bother with a clicking nail and clicking pain when you are unlikely to damage the precise nail with your weight anyway?
