I studied a semester at a Dutch university (top business school), and I swear among the Dutch you will feel pretty short as a 7 footer. My room mate, a light-skinned, blonde Norwegian who scrapes at 8 foot (probably like 7'11'', he says 8 foot and a half inch, but I think he exaggerates) told me he went to a party at the campus and at the bar he felt short because there were 6 or 7 dutch dudes over 8 feet next to him, and even the girl at the bar was about 6'6'' without heels. This might sound brutal but it's the truth, sadly.

If you want to do LL to be a giant then do it. You'll be a great candidate for a freak show too.
