Frame removal went well, and it feels awesome with all the freedom without the frame almost feels like I’ve got my legs back normal. Now I am focusing on recovery. Have started standing and weight exercises with 2. Kgs ankle weight. I was wondering if I should invest in my own ankle weights, could a fellow LL patient let me know if 2 kgs or 5 lbs would be a good long term investment, I mean would it still be a good resistance 3-6 months down the line ?

Standing went easy, though I thought that 1 inch difference as compared to my Physio would be a lot but it wasn’t. I now crave for more height so was thinking of femur. But got to save some money for it before I could afford it.

I’ll guess I’ll think upon it after I go back to normal life. Time is the only drawback that’s going to make me decide against it.
To all fellow peeps who think whether it would be worth it or not. I feel it’s worth it, if you are super short, this is basically a life changer for short guys, provided if you are okay with the risks chances of which are very minimal.

I’ll keep you all posted on my recovery. Post quicker recovery tips if you are a felllow LL patient.
See you again soon. Bye

Hi folks

Just wanted to post an update on my journey
Recently visited Dr to discuss my progress
The callus formation is good but still it’s not 100% complete not sure why my bone is focussed on densifying existing callus area instead of first uniformly forming a 100% bridge
About 20% area is left empty the rest has gotten denser similar to a bone

Since there is positive growth I am not worried about it yet
Hopefully would take a month or two more to fill up

I am doing about 4 km walk daily now
2 kms at a time with both crutches
As per Dr legs need further strengthening to leave the crutches and going to gym now is advised
I’ll start that from 15th I think
It would be first step of going back to normal life
Does anybody know where to find recovery tips from fellow ll patient in this forum I wasn’t able to find that

Will visit again soon
See ya
