Right now I'm interested in the PRECICE method, however I can't get over the fact that they are inserting a metal rod INSIDE the bone. I wonder how it all works, wouldnt the bone marrow be destroyed? When they talk out the rod what happens to the space inside the bone? Will it regrow? It's quite intriguing..

The bone marrow fully regenerates in around two weeks after you remove the rods. The space taken up by the rod displaces whatever was inside naturally.

It's not only for the precice method but for pretty much all the methods like - Gnail, betzbone, fitbone, LON, etc...

How do you think they put in trauma nail for people who actually breaks your leg? Same thing. Your body produces more than enough blood cells so there is no harm. And like others said, your body get back all those bone marrow about 2 weeks after your nail removal.
